Making a Digital Scrapbook Heart Embellishment Using ScrapSimple Tools - Styles

Note: Tutorial demonstrated in Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.

Open your choice of hearts from ScrapSimple Embellishment Templates: Sixties Hearts.

Create a new document, 8 inches by 8 inches. Drag the heart into this new document. Click on the heart with the Magic Wand Tool. Create a new layer above the heart layer. Activate this new layer.

Go to Edit> Stroke/Outline Selection. Set the stroke at 30 pixels (adjust as necessary), and center it.

Now you are able to add one of the many ScrapSimple Tools Styles to your heart border and decorate the heart as you choose to use in your digital scrapbooking layout.
