How to Use ScrapSimple Digital Scrapbooking Layout Templates in Digital Image Pro
Create a new 300 dpi document. This layout is going to be 12 inches by 12 inches.
Insert a ScrapSimple Digital Layout Template by using the command path, Insert> Picture> From My Computer. Browse to the template you wish to use and select it.
Use the Magic Wand to select the template. (Edit> Selection Tool> Magic Wand). Uncheck the "Contiguous" box and hold down your Shift key while you click around in the template until all of the template areas are selected.
You'll now fill the template with a background by using the following path: Effects> Fill with Texture or Color. Select the "Picture" option.
Once you are in the dialogue, choose to "Open" a picture...
This will allow you to browse to a image on your computer. Select "OK" when you are finished.
To get the Magic Wand selection lines to go away, select the Object Tool (Edit> Selection Tools> Object Tool) and click on the template.
You can do very interesting things with the ScrapSimple Digital Layout Templates. For instance, here is what it looks like when two layers of template patterns are filled in and the top layer is faded into the bottom layer.
