Examples of Printables used in Scrapbooking Layouts
Look at just a small sampling of layouts where our team created paper layouts using printables. What's most interesting about it is that most of them do not have a wide format printer. Know why it works? Because most people cut up their patterned papers into blocks anyway!
And there is always that size issue. There are just a lot of us that are starting to move away from 12x12 scrapbooking layouts. Know why? Because those darn 12x12 scrapbooking albums just don't fit on our shelves and we can't figure out where to put them in our houses! So we are seeing a lot more 8.5x11, 8x8 and 8.5x8.5 layouts now. Those albums fit on shelves!
Lindsay Thom has used blocks of printable patterned papers from the Biliotexts (retired) and Adore Collections.
Janet Ohlson made this paper layout with the Ecetera Collection Biggie.
Mandy Steward made these paper layouts using Ro's Dreamy Papers (retired).
Rozanne Paxman created this warm layout using Brandie Valenzuela's Defined Family Brown Papers (retired), which she printed on cream cardstock. Other supplies include Making Memories foam stamps, Stamp Craft stamps and metal embellishments, Delta and Anita acrylic paint, black fine line pen, ribbon scraps, and Colorbox Chalk stamp ink.
Rozanne says, "Want perfect print outs every time? Watch my Word document set-up movies. I've been even able to teach Vivian at Epson a new trick or two with the 12x12 one. She didn't know that their printer would print out edge-to-edge on 12" cardstock before."
Jan Hicks made this great layout using the Grunged Soccer Blue Mini Collection. Isn't it just perfect?
