Step-by-Step Instructions:
Put your CD into your computer that contains your Scrap Girls digital
scrapbooking supplies.

You will see a Window pop up that shows you the contents of your CD.
If this does not occur, you are running an older version of Windows. To
get to the contents of your CD do this:

Locate the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Double-click on it.

You will see a window open that shows you all of your hard drives and
disk drives, including your CD and DVD drives. As you can see, I have
a lot of things!
Double-click on the drive that has your CD in it. The label of the CD
will always start with "SG".
You will then see the window open that shows you the contents of your
CD.

Because the files are zipped (you can tell because they have the little
zipper around them), you will have to move them onto your computer to
unzip them (unpack them) so that you can use them. Here's how to do that:

Create a folder inside of "My Documents" with a name that you will remember.
In this case I have named my folder "Scrap Girls Club October 2005,"
because that is what is on this particular CD.

Then resize both your CD contents window and your prepared folder window
(it will be empty at this point) so that you can see them both.
Select all of the zipped files on your CD by clicking on the first one,
holding down your Shift key, and then clicking on the last one. They will
be highlighted when they are all selected.
Holding your mouse down (making sure that they are all still highlighted),
drag them over to your empty, prepared window.

You will see a dialogue box pop up that tells you that your computer
is copying the contents of the CD onto your computer. It might take a
few minutes to copy over, depending upon how fast your computer runs.
This is normal. Just wait until the dialogue box goes away and you hear
your CD player stop working. That's how you know it is finished.
Close down the CD window and remove the CD. File it in a safe place where
it won't get scratched or damaged. I use a CD padded zipped folder that
I got at an office supply store.

Right-click on one of the folders and choose "Extract All" from the pop-up
menu. You will then see this dialogue appear. Choose "Next" to continue
the process.

You will then see this dialogue box. You COULD browse to have your folder
unzip to a different location, but I don't recommend that. Just choose
"Next" and continue. This will allow the unzipped folder to land in the
same folder you are working in and it will be easy to find that way.

You will then see this dialogue box. Choose "Finish."

A window that has your unzipped product will pop up. You can browse into
that file and look at the contents now, if you wish. This is actually
when I choose to file my scrapbooking products in my working scrapbooking
folders. See HERE
for more information about how to develop a scrapbooking filing system.

If you look at your original window, you will see that you now have your
same zipped folder AND an unzipped folder. Keep unzipping the rest of
your folders until they are all unzipped. File them in your scrapbooking
file folders as you go along. It is easier that way.
