- Fill fonts with pictures or patterns.
- Print out in reverse and then cut out of fun foam to create custom stamps.
- Create your own rub-ons by printing in reverse on a transparency. Rub the print off onto your project.
- Create large titles. Reverse print the title on cardstock and then cut it out with a craft knife.
- Type in a circle or other shape.
- Make logos or tags.
- Vary the fonts in one word.
- Vary the fonts in one journaling block.
- Vary fonts and colors in one word or title.
- Vary upper case and lower case in one word or paragraph.
- Vary the spacing, letter tilt, and letter stretch within one word or grouping of words.
- Print text on vellum or glossy paper. Emboss with embossing power and a heat gun to add dimension.
- Stiffen fabric by ironing the waxy side of freezer paper to the back of your fabric swatch. You can then print your text on it.
- To create neat hand-printed journaling entries or titles, print your journaling entry on scratch paper. Then use a light box to see the journaling entry as you write.
- Create blank spaces as you type journaling entries, titles, or words. Then use stickers or embellishments to fill in these blank spaces.
- Create borders or frames for photos or page elements.
- Create transparency journaling overlays.
- Create dry embossed titles by reverse-printing your title on a piece of scrap paper. Then, lay a piece of vellum over it and trace the title with a stylus.
- Create a word collage with the aid of text boxes in software like Word or Publisher.
- Create dimensional titles with shrink plastic. Remember that the size will be reduced drastically, so print the letters out much larger than you want them to end up.
- Embossed titles can be created by printing on cardstock, then going over the print with an embossing marker. Sprinkle with embossing powder and set with a heat gun.
