Digital ScrapbookingTutorial for PSE: Make a layout with an Easy Page part 1

Let’s quickly make a digital scrapbooking layout using Easy Page Pro Album: 4×6 French Market in Photoshop Elements.

First, I need to open my digital scrapbooking supply files. I need to browse to the folder where they are located on my desktop and find the easy page I want to use. Here it is.

Once I open it, the Easy Page shows up in the photo bin below. That means that it’s available for use.

Now I’ll get the picture I want to use on my layout. Here’s a picture of my grandson, Raevyn. I’ll open it. Again, it shows up in the photo bin on the bottom.

Now that I have my file ready to go, I’ll select the Move Tool. It’s the little cross at the top of my tool bar.

I’m going to drag-and-drop my photo onto of the Easy Page. I want to resize it so that it fits in the opening of my Easy Page. I’ll hold down the Shift key so that it re-sizes proportionally. I’ll double-click on it to accept the change.

Now I’ll go to the Layers palette. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the Photoshop Elements workspace. I’ll make sure that the photo layer is highlighted. Then I’ll move the photo below the Easy Page layer by dragging it down. Last I’ll drag the photo around a little bit so that it is in the correct position.
