How to use Windows DVD Maker to burn a Presentation Digital Scrapbook 1-2-3 to a DVD that you can watch on a TV

Presentation Digital Scrapbook 1-2-3 ready to go.

After you have created your Presentation Digital Scrapbook 1-2-3 album in PowerPoint, you need to convert it to the type of movie file that will play on your TV. The file type you will convert to is MP4-MPEG-4 Video (.mp4). I use PowerPoint to Video Pro to do this.

Once you have converted your PowerPoint slide into the proper file type, you are ready to begin.

Step 1

When you start Windows DVD Maker, you will see this dialogue. Use the Add items option to add the movie you wish to burn to the DVD.

Step 2

Locate the movie you wish to burn to the DVD.

Step 3

Make certain that the movie file is in the .mpg format. If you would like to check, right-click on the movie file and select the option to see the file's Properties. The File type information is located on the Details tab.

Step 4

Name your DVD and then hit the Next button.

Step 5

Select the menu appearance option you wish to use. This is what you will see when you play your DVD. If you'd like, you can customize how the menu will appear by clicking on the "Customize menu" option.

Step 6

In the Customize menu dialogue., you can use the Browse buttons to add a special image to the DVD's menu. You can also have music play as soon as the DVD's menu appears after you put it in your DVD player. This is also where you change the font and other styles of the menu's text. Hit the Change Style button when you are ready to continue.

Step 7

Preview your movie, if you'd like. Hit the OK button when you are finished.

Step 8

Everything is ready to go. Click on the Burn button and Windows DVD Burner will burn the DVD.

Step 9

Windows DVD Maker is burning the movie to the disc. Once the DVD has been burned, you will be given the option to end or to burn another copy of the DVD.

Step 10

Enjoy your movie on your TV!
