Easy pages are the answer to completing a layout very quickly and easily. It's a simple matter of choosing your photo and literally plopping it into place. You may need to resize, rotate or recolor your photo to fit or achieve the desired effect you're after. All the design work on the Easy Page has been done for you, and in a matter of minutes, you have created a beautiful layout which you could easily leave as is...

But the added bonus of Easy Pages is that you can add embellishments and/or text to give it more of a personal touch...

To achieve this effect, I started by adding Jewel Brads from the Beloved Collection Biggie to the centre of the flowers and gave them a slight drop shadow. I placed a corner from the Art Journal Collection Biggie onto the top right of the photo with a slight drop shadow. I selected a yellow color slightly darker than the paper on the Easy Page and added a stroke of paint from the Paint Stroke Brush Set with a very slight bevel to give it a raised look. I used a script font for the 'in love' text and placed this onto the Paint Stroke.

I selected a piece of Notepaper from the Journaling Paper Biggie, resized and rotated into place, deleted the overlap from the Notepaper and added a drop shadow. Using a handwriting font, I added a love poem onto the notepaper, finishing it off with a Doodle from the Fancy Brush Set 3 Corner Special. Using a soft round brush with the opacity lowered, and making sure the Easy Page layer was selected, I drew a straight line down the right side of the photo to give a shadow effect so that the notepaper looked as though it was placed underneath the photo rather than floating on the page.
