Digital Scrapbooking Training Begins Here
The best way is to jump right in the water and start swimming! If you happen to know how to use your photo editing software, then you are all set. However, if you don’t, Scrap Girls has some great tutorial movie training series that make it a snap to learn how to scrapbook digitally. I created them because people were constantly asking me, “How?”
“How do I do it?” they would say. “I’m so excited to try, but I don’t know how! I find a little bit here and there on the web, but I can’t find out how!”
So I decided that I better do something about it...
My tutorial movies let you watch me scrapbook in the software and you can hear me talking about why I am doing what I am doing. It’s like having me come right to your home and teach you to scrapbook on your computer... Kind of like having me as your own private tutor! Each topic has its own short movie file, which allows you to easily re-watch any topics that you are interested in reviewing. You don’t have to try to find them again on a long DVD.
They take you right from the beginning - from opening your files in the software - and then they move you along, step-by-step, as you learn to make layouts and learn to mange important issues such as layering. (Layering in software is just like stacking papers on top of each other. Every time you add something to your layout, you are creating a new layer.)
You’ll learn how to brush, create your own vellum effects, how to edit your photos (including learning how fix up photos that have big flaws in them), and you’ll even learn how to make simple simple scrapbooking backgrounds of your own!
It is so easy to learn how to scrapbook this way... You’ll be amazed.
