I love creating products that allow people to gather their favorite memories or thoughts together in a quick and easy way. These brush sets were designed to give people jumping-off points to record their favorite memories on a wide variety of subjects. You can use them as titles for a book or on an individual layout where a particular group of memories is the focus." 1. When designing a collection what do you start with first? Papers, embellishments, word art? Papers. Always. 2. Are you an early morning designer or do you burn the midnight candle? I definitely prefer working in the mornings. But I also homeschool my kids, so I generally have to settle for working in the afternoons and early evening. |

Imagine, if you will, golden threads of light so fine that you can hardly see them. See the threads being woven by angelic hands into a tight mesh which is used to create a protective bubble which floats around you. This bubble insulates you from all of the insults, false accusations, misunderstandings, judgments, and unkindness the world tries to throw at you. When someone attempts to harm you in any way, their words or deeds hit the mesh and bounce far away. The only way their harmful emotions can reach you is if you cut a hole in the mesh and voluntarily allow them inside.

I feel like I have accomplished a lot. After having three children, I managed to earn two bachelor's degrees, and while raising my three children, plus adding one more, I achieved a master's degree. During these programs, I received high grades in business math, statistics, and algebra. I enjoyed the challenge, and I enjoyed the courses.
Muse: To be absorbed in one's thoughts; engage in meditation. Not intended to solve the world's problems, another person's problems, or to cover topics completely. One does not have to agree with musings to enjoy them, just as one does not have to be the same as someone else to appreciate who they are.

- How to Resize 12x12 Papers with 8.5x11 ScrapSimple Paper Templates

I have a rather large stash of 12x12-inch digital scrapbooking papers, and many of them are heavily patterned, which means that sometimes resizing them down to 8.5x11 inches just doesn't work. The papers end up looking odd.

Salvador Dali... such an inspiring artist to so many in so many different ways. Recently, I visited the magnificent museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, that houses 96 of his works of art. Best known for his surrealistic style of painting, this was just the ticket I needed to inspire the direction to take when preparing this newsletter assignment.

Some "star quality" photos seem to need stars around them, like photos of your daughter in her dance recital, your son making a touchdown, your daughter on the soccer field, your children at their music recitals, your mother on her birthday. For this particular layout, I wanted to capture the joy that I share with my beautiful daughter and also to highlight her first tattoo which she chose to commemorate her grandmother. It is so easy for you to make digital scrapbooking glowing stars with my Brush Set: Starburst Biggie and the two layer styles I created for them: ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Starburst White 7601 and ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Starburst Pastels 7602.

February is Posting Contest time on the Scrap Girls Forums! You can win a Scrap Girls Gift Certificate by simply being chatty in the Scrap Girls Forums and Gallery. This contest will run from February 1st when we post the thread until 11:59pm MT on February 29th.
To enter the Scrap Girls Forum Posting Contest, you MUST reply in the Posting Contest Thread with your CURRENT post count. Your post count is the number under your avatar that shows when you post. (NOTE: The number found on your profile is a number which is calculated differently.) During the month, post your fingers off! At Midnight on February 29th, we will calculate your post count based on the numbers posted in the game thread.
