Digital Scrapbook Product Designer

Ursula Schneider is an avid artist who has been creating digital scrapbooks since January 2006. Prior to that, she had been paper scrapping and dabbling in any other paper art form she could find. However, having discovered digital scrapbooking, she has found herself hooked.

Ursula says she “loves the freedom” digital design offers her in terms of manipulating elements, photos, colors, and more. More than just memory keeping, Ursula considers digital scrapbooking to be an artistic outlet. Each time she applies a new layer, she finds herself smiling with deep satisfaction.

Ursula is a SAHM to three children ages 15, 13, and 12, and is the proud wife of 16 years to the man of her dreams. She is also very involved at her local church in worship team and women’s ministry. She lives in the deserts of Southeastern Arizona on five acres with four cats, one very old dog, and lots and lots of creepy crawlies.

Ursula’s passions include photography, scrapping, bible study, and learning about whatever takes her fancy at the moment. She is a self-taught photographer who enjoys freelance photography for weddings, portraiture, and real estate. She has long enjoyed crafting and has taught herself design principles by voraciously reading through any “design” book she could get her hands on. Through the study of the arts of quilting, decorating, stamping, scrapbooking, and color theory, she has learned a few tricks of the trade, which she uses in her scrapbook pages and digital scrapbook product design. Not one to limit herself to any particular style, she calls her work “eclectic.”

Ursula is thrilled to be a part of Scrap Girls' fabulous Digital Scrapbook Product Design team. She considers working in this field to be the equivalent of doing a dream job.
