Welcoming Committee

Patti started paper scrapping in 1996 after a neighbor had asked her to do her bookkeeping for a new Scrapbook store she had opened. In 2002, she became a consultant for a Scrapbooking Company from Salt Lake City, UT, but due to working full time, country living and having four children involved in any sport there was, there just was no time to continue on that adventure.

Patti has been married to her high school sweetheart for almost 27 years. Together they have raised four children, Trevor, 25, Tara, 23, Travis, 22 and Tristyn, 16 years. They have been blessed with one beautiful granddaughter, Tenley, who will be turning one in June.

Patti was introduced to digital scrapbooking through a colleague at work who had brought a digital scrapbooking magazine to work. This is where she found a link to Scrap Girls.com. She immediately signed up for the newsletter and downloaded the freebies offered, although she did not immediately start digital scrapbooking until almost a year later.

In October 2006, she finally signed up as a registered user of the message board after reading Ro’s Bachelor Degree in Me. She had never been involved on any message board before and was totally in awe of the friendliness and the willingness of everyone to help her start digitally scrapbooking. She says joining Scrap Girls is the best message board she could have ever found. She has made many friendships all over the world and has learned so much from everyone.

She is truly excited to be part of the Welcoming Committee. She wants everyone who joins Scrap Girls to feel that love, friendship and bond that is formed between every member of the board the way she did when she joined!
