Marnie Adams is leading a blessed life. On one lucky day, while researching scrapbooking websites, Marnie stumbled across Scrap Girls and eventually the turning point in her career. Since then, Marnie has immersed herself in the world of digital scrapbooking. In October 2006, she was thrilled to be asked to join the Scrap Girls Welcoming Committee. And after a lifelong love of color and creation, Marnie found her dream job by first becoming a Product Designer as an eBook writer and now also as an illustrator. The influence of Scrap Girls goes even further, as Marnie has not only been a student in many of the classes offered, but now a teacher in them as well.

Since 1999, Marnie has held a variety of freelance and traditional jobs that have given her valuable experience in her work. Notably, she has designed logos for promotional products, is a published craft pattern designer, and was a teacher for both rubber stamping and decorative painting.

Marnie is currently celebrating twenty years of marriage to her husband Michael and is the proud mother of two amazing daughters, Ashley and Alyssa. Following her husband’s career in the U.S. Navy, Marnie and her family have been stationed all over the world – from California to Puerto Rico to Spain and now Hawaii. The infusion of culture, people, and nature from around the globe has inspired Marnie and often found its way into her work.

At home, Marnie enjoys doodling, writing, reading, cross stitching, quilting, and playing games with her family. Marnie loves a good movie and a nice cup of hot chocolate – throw in a blanket and her cat, and she is in heaven.

Working daily in Photoshop CS3 and slowly learning Adobe Illustrator, Marnie cheerfully makes the sixteen step commute from her bedroom to her computer: a happy life indeed.
