Kathleen Szatmary is a native New Yorker now residing in Atlanta, GA. She has loved to draw since early childhood and started doing so professionally after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Illustration. Kathleen began her career as an artist for girls' sleepwear. She then became a Design Director, overseeing the design and development of sleepwear and home products for kids. She has worked with and been inspired by many talented artists through the years. Her artwork has appeared on anything from kids' pajamas and bedding to paper products, and has been sold in major retail stores. Katheen considers her two daughters, Erika and Alexandra, her constant inspiration and thoroughly enjoys being part of their worlds. She has been proud wife of Joe for 20 years, having met on their commute to NYC many years ago. Kathleen has a great family and a host of special friends who support and inspire her every day in many ways. She eagerly anticipates working in this wonderful world of scrap booking as a product designer.
