Layout Artist

Jennifer has always been interested in crafts, writing and photography. In college, she decided to put her writing skills to the test and obtained a journalism degree with English minor. It was also during college that she was introduced to graphics and layout design.

After college, Jennifer worked for a bank where she created their monthly newsletter. It was there that she really began manipulating graphics and working with layout design. This creative responsibility was the one thing she really loved about her job.

As her career evolved, Jennifer pursued graphic design. Today, in her full-time marketing position, Jennifer is responsible for all of the graphic design needs of a major international corporation. She has honed her skills with over ten years of Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro experience, not to mention several other graphics and layout design programs. She knows her way around a computer and prefers to use Photoshop for scrapping.

Jennifer began paper scrapping in 2001 when pregnant with her daughter, Jordan. Since the very beginning, scrapbooking has been her artistic passion. She began digital scrapping in 2005, and hasn’t looked back! Jennifer has had several layouts published in major scrapbooking magazines and a book.

Jennifer became a layout artist for Scrap Girls in June 2006, and has loved every minute of it.
