Brandy is a portrait photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina. Growing up in South Georgia, she’s had a love for design since age three, when her babysitter “re-arranged” and decorated her room. Since then, she has been “arranging” anything she could get her hands on.

She designed her first ad at the age of 14 for Catalina Homes. From school projects, visual merchandising, company newsletters, interior design and photography, she has dabbled in it all. After leaving the corporate sales arena of almost 10 years, she is grateful for God’s opportunity to do what is truly in her soul.

Her love of photography, while always present, was re-inspired when she met her SO of two years, a nature photographer from The Netherlands. She says they make a great pair since she always captures the photos of people, while he, the beauty of nature. You will see a lot of this photo duo’s work in her layouts.

Scrapbooking is a combination of the two things that light her heart... photography and design, so she was naturally drawn in quick! Brandy started paper scrapping in 2005; she was introduced to digital scrapbooking in 2006 and has never looked back. She said, “I love how I can have a digital product, use it over and over again and manipulate it so that it looks entirely different! How’s that for economical?”

Since then, she has been contracted to do professional scrapbooks for others. She finds it a joy to work with other people’s photos, bringing out in them something they never saw before, while preserving precious memories.

Brandy is completely overjoyed at becoming a member of the Scrap Girls Product Design and Layout Artist Teams! She says she is mostly excited about inspiring and helping the Scrap Girls members, who have truly been a portal for friendship, support and inspiration.
