Amy feels extremely honored and privileged to be chosen to be a member of the Scrap Girls Layout Artist Team. Amy has had a life-long love of photography, graphic arts, journaling, and preserving memories. It was her discovery of Scrap Girls in 2007, and the realization of the beauty that could be created digitally, that really ignited her passion and drive to learn everything she could about digital scrapbooking. Every spare moment has been filled with enthusiastic learning through experimenting with the software, taking Scrap Girl classes, asking questions, and studying the amazingly talented work of the product designers and layout artists. Becoming a Layout Artist has been a dream come true for Amy, and is a realization that her talent is truly a God-given gift.
Amy has been married for 14 years to her best friend and very supportive husband Mark, and together they are raising two active young daughters. Their house is also filled with a Yellow Labrador Retriever, a 28-year-old cockatiel, and a baby African Grey Parrot. Not to mention a lot of noise! Amy has an endless supply of material to scrap!
Amy is also very active in her church. She is a member of the media team, and on a rotating basis is responsible for displaying the power point programs, lyrics, and sermon notes for the services. Amy and Mark host a weekly bible study in their home. Amy also works full time at a major tourist attraction in Southern California.
